On Saturday, May 24, 2025, our pastor, Rev. Dr. Christopher Armstrong initiated
THE NEHEMIAH PROJECT.
The purpose of the project is for restoration and enhancement of the church edifice.
The Nehemiah Project Outline includes:
| 1. PURPOSE |
| Restoration and Enhancements – Audio and Video Nehemiah 4:6 – “So we rebuilt the wall till all of it reached half its height, for the people worked with all their heart.” |
| 2. PURSUIT |
| 1. Replace the entire audio system in the sanctuary. 2. Add two large video screens in the sanctuary. 3. Designate/Stripe Area for Handicap Parking. 4. Replace All of the Front Doors of the Church. 5. Re-lamp the entire sanctuary. Ezra 7:27 – “Praise be to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who has put it into the king’s heart to bring honor to the house of the Lord in Jerusalem in this way.” |
| 3. PROJECT COMPLETION DATE |
| December 31, 2025 Nehemiah 2:6 – “Then the king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked me, “How long will your journey take, and when will you get back?” It pleased the king to send me; so I set a time.” |
| 4. PRICE |
| $250,000.00 Luke 14:28 – “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?” |
| 5. PLAN |
| Asking at least 250 members to give $1,000 before December 2025 2 Corinthians 9:7 – “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” |
